Such a training begins with becoming aware of signs on chemical reagents that are indicative of the nature of chemicals found in health institutions. In addition, it is also important to be aware of best practices when disposing off of chemical waste and bio hazard materials in addition to infectious pathogens.

Sometimes it is equally important to develop and implement safety programs in health institutions to be able to manage health and safety properly. At times, these safety programs are a requirement under certain safety and health protocols/mandates of either an institution or country.
