Which kind of training can I find at IRES ?

IRES offers a comprehensive portfolio of technical training and education services designed for individuals, and organizations working in the agriculture; climate change and environment; disaster management; education; food and nutrition; health;  humanitarian relief; logistics and telecommunication; recovery and reconstruction; safety and security; water sanitation and hygiene sectors. 

Who can get training at  IRES ?

IRES is committed to attaining excellence through diversity. We have profound respect for all human differences, including age, cultural, ethnic, racial, linguistic, gender, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual orientation, and ability.

Are applications subject to a review ?

After the applicant completes an IRES Online Application  . The application is then reviewed by IRES training department.  The review committee may accept or decline an application guided by the elligiblity requirements for every training.

Does the standard fee include accommodation ?

We offer a standard fee alternative (Alternative I) which covers the course tuition, training materials, accommodation (6), breakfast (5), two break refreshments and lunch during the training, study visits and all dinners. Participants will cater for their own travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses. Participants who wish to seek own accommodation can choose course fee Alternative II (Without Accomodation)

However, applicants are highly encouraged to stay at the hotel where the trainings are held to benefit from evening practicals review usually after dinner. The rooms’ rate is approximately US$ 50 per day. Note that  this is a negotiated rate between IRES and the hosting  Hotel management.

When is the school fee payable ?

Sponsoring organisations/participants pays for the training fees through IRES bank account as indicated on the Training Fees Invoice they have received. Payments should be made 14 days prior to the training commencement date. Participants who wish to pay at the registration desk, during the first day of the training, should make the request in writing 7 days prior to the training commencement date.

What is the IRES cancellation policy ?

Payment for the all courses includes a registration fee, which is non-refundable, and equals 15% of the total sum of the course fee.

  1. Participants whoo are unable to attend may send a replacement provided the participation criteria has been met
  2. Participants may cancel attendance 14 days or more prior to the training commencement date.
  3. No refunds will be made 14 days or less to training  commencement date
