Data Analysis and Management

Data Management, Analysis, and Graphics using STATA
15.09.2014 - 19.09.2014
Sportsview Hotel Kasarani - Nairobi
Data Management and Analysis

This training specifically deals with management, analysis and graphing of quantitative data using STATA. The training combines theoretical foundations with methodological perspectives, aiming at equipping participants with knowledge on use of quantitative data in social research using STATA.

STATA is a complete, integrated statistical package that provides everything you need for data analysis, data management, and graphics.

The five days training also explore on the quantitative data gathering tools with particular focus on emerging tools for rapid data gathering such as mobile data gathering, SMS Surveys and Online surveys.

Participants will be guided through practical exercises on the use of CSPro a software tool used for entering, editing, tabulating, mapping, and disseminating census and survey data.
