Course Overview:

This intensive 5-day training course offered by IRES is designed to enhance the capacity of project teams implementing development projects funded by the World Bank. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of procurement principles, risk assessment, procurement planning, and compliance with the World Bank Procurement Framework and Regulations for projects after July 1, 2016. The course covers best practices in sourcing, contract award, and contract management to ensure value for money and efficiency in procurement operations.

Methodology

Participants should be reasonably proficient in the language.

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued an Indepth Research Institute (IRES) certificate certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).

Training Venue

The training will be held at IRES Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments, and lunch. All participants will additionally cater to their travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses.
