Introduction

Environmental protection is one of the key issues of waste management. It is not the best solution to keep waste in deposits, but it is important to expand knowledge of connection with landfill because they will operate for a long time.  New knowledge is needed for their cultivation and also the utilization of the land. One of the motivations of the land use can be a fact, that due to the expansion of the strata, the previous outskirts become inner-city areas. Therefore, this course entails a best practice to be adopted to ensure sustainable waste management.

MODULE 5: Waste disposal and treatment

  • Waste 6R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Rethink & Reorganize)
  • Environmental Management System

 

REQUIREMENTS

Participants should be reasonably proficient in English. Applicants must live up to Indepth Research Services (IRES) admission criteria.

METHODOLOGY

  • The training programs will entail information presented through slides or the use of videotapes and is reinforced with handouts and study guides
  • Outside of the classroom, participatory

All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.

ACCREDITATION

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with an Indepth Research Services (IRES) certificate.

TRAINING VENUE

The training is residential and will be held at IRES Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments, lunch, and study visits.

All participants will additionally cater for their, travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses.
